Eligibility

Empty / in-need-of-repair property in Royal Borough of Greenwich. Grants of up to £15,000 to private owners who agree to let or lease their property under the council landlord renting/leasing scheme. Grants of up to £50,000 for properties to be let as an HMO. Application via online landlord property improvement grant form.

Greenwich Interest-Free Home Improvement Loan

Eligibility

Where the cost of building work is over £5,000, the council offers an interest-free loan of up to £25,000 to homeowners to meet the remaining costs. Secured as charge against the property. No repayments required until the home is sold or ownership passes to someone else, provided conditions are kept.
