Eligibility

Property must be empty for 6+ months. Short-term secured loan at 0 percent interest. Loans normally awarded on a phased basis for larger amounts (£25,000 per unit, up to £175,000 per applicant). Typical 3-year repayment term; property must be relet within 12 weeks of completion. Apply via the local district Empty Property Officer. £7.5m of fund capacity remained available May 2026.
