Eligibility

The Private Sector Access Team finds tenants for private landlords and pays rent in advance and deposits on the tenant's behalf to secure the tenancy; housing-related benefits can be paid direct to the landlord. Properties must be in good condition to HHSRS standards and rents affordable. Contact PrivateSectorAccessTeam@hullcc.gov.uk.

Notes

Homecheque (max £5k repair loan via credit union) is general purpose not empty homes. Legacy Hull Partnership Empty Homes Programme closed 2015.
