Eligibility

Newham Council may agree to lease a property from the landlord for a period of time, during which the landlord is guaranteed rent. Presented on the council's landlord and empty-property pages as a route to bring property into use housing council-referred households, with financial incentives for leasing.

PRS Solutions Team landlord offer

Eligibility

Newham Council's PRS Solutions Team finds tenants (families needing immediate housing) for private landlords on an assured tenancy, with rent at or around Local Housing Allowance level. The offer includes competitive incentives depending on size and location, one month's rent deposit where required, one year's rent guarantee insurance, and payment within 4-10 working days of the tenancy agreement.
