Owners of properties empty for more than 6 months that are let to council-nominated tenants for a set period. Maximum grant varies with number of bedrooms up to £40,000. Separate grant available for owners reoccupying properties empty 5+ years.
Redbridge Empty Homes Grant: up to 50% of refurbishment costs to a maximum of £40,000 for properties empty 6+ months let to council-nominated tenants. Separate grant for properties empty 5+ years where owner intends to occupy.
