Wiltshire runs an empty-home scheme for landlords and owner-occupiers bringing long-term empty properties back into use. Each scheme below links to the council's own page where you can verify eligibility and apply.

Eligibility

Wiltshire homeowners. Discretionary loans typically targeted at low-income, elderly, disabled and vulnerable households. Empty property loan product available via Lendology. Fixed interest, no early repayment charges, overpayments allowed.

Council tax premium

A property is classed as "long-term empty" once it has been unoccupied and substantially unfurnished for a qualifying period. The premium is charged on top of the standard council tax bill.
