Eligibility

Owners of long-term empty homes in Wychavon. 0% interest loan repaid monthly over 2 or 3 years, with first payment deferral of up to 3 months by agreement. Property must be renovated to a habitable standard and brought back into occupation. £1,000 incentive payment may apply where property is let via the council tenant referral service.

Council tax premium

A property is classed as "long-term empty" once it has been unoccupied and substantially unfurnished for a qualifying period. The premium is charged on top of the standard council tax bill.
